AI integration & automation

From hype to real business value – we integrate machine learning and large language models into your applications and automate repetitive tasks.

Intelligent data extraction

Understand documents semantically instead of maintaining templates – for example with our Document Data Extractor.

Predictive analytics

Turn data into actionable forecasts and recommendations.

Automated communication

Understand incoming requests, prioritise them and route them to the right place.

Artificial intelligence is more than a chatbot

We integrate machine learning and LLMs deeply into your existing business applications to eliminate repetitive tasks. Whether intelligent data extraction, predictive analytics or automated customer communication – we turn your data into tangible competitive advantages.

Example: Your support team is drowning in emails and categorises tickets manually. An NLP model understands the content of incoming emails, detects sentiment, prioritises the ticket automatically and assigns it to the right person.

Typical use cases

  • Process documents – read invoices, delivery notes or forms automatically and pass them on to ERP or DMS.
  • Sort requests – understand emails and tickets, prioritise them and route them to the right place.
  • Handle orders – recognise incoming orders, check them and create them as sales orders.
  • Make knowledge usable – assistants that answer questions based on your own documents and data.
  • Create forecasts – predict demand, workload or risks from historical data.

The right starting point

Not every process is suited for AI. With the pre-AI assessment we find out together where AI makes economic sense with manageable risk – and where the groundwork has to be laid first.

From use case to production

  1. Assess the potential

With the AI check or the pre-AI assessment we find the processes where AI pays off.

  2. Build a prototype

A proof of concept with your real data shows how well the solution works.

  3. Integrate

The solution is connected to your systems – via APIs or the Frends integration platform.

  4. Operate and improve

Measure quality, have people review uncertain cases and keep improving the system.

Data protection and control

AI models do not have to run in someone else’s cloud. Depending on how sensitive your data is, we use models in European data centres or run them in your own infrastructure.

Ready-made building blocks

For automated document processing we rely on our Document Data Extractor: it understands invoices, receipts and forms regardless of layout and language and delivers structured data – in the cloud or on premises.

Frequently asked questions

Your question is not listed? Get in touch directly: Contact

Where does AI pay off in our company?

Above all in recurring processes with lots of data and manual, rule-based steps – for example in document processing, customer service or order handling. Our AI check gives a first impression; the pre-AI assessment provides a sound evaluation.

Does our data have to leave the company?

Not necessarily. Models can run in European data centres or in your own infrastructure. The Document Data Extractor, for example, is also available as a Docker container for your data centre.

How reliable are the results?

AI makes mistakes – which is why we plan checks from the start. Results are validated against rules, uncertain cases go to people (human in the loop), and in operation we measure quality continuously.

What does the EU AI Act mean for our project?

The AI Act classifies AI systems by their risk. Many automations in companies fall into the low-risk category; applications in HR, for example, are subject to strict requirements, and chatbots must be recognisable as AI. We clarify early in the project how your use case is classified.

How do we best get started?

With a clearly defined use case. After the AI check or the pre-AI assessment, we build a prototype with your real data – so you see the benefit before investing on a larger scale.
